Principal Software Engineer

Job Summary

As a full-time remote Principal Software Engineer, the successful candidate will set the technical vision and oversee the design, build, and maintenance of applications and services that support clinical workflows and patient engagement within the Azure ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Sets the technical vision and long-term architecture strategy for the engineering organization
• Partners with executive leadership to align technology strategy with business objectives
• Drives organization-wide initiatives for platform modernization and innovation programs

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's or advanced degree preferred
• Minimum of ten years of professional engineering experience in senior technical leadership roles
• Proficiency in one or more backend languages/frameworks (e.g., .NET Core/C#, Node.js, Python, Java)
• Experience with Azure cloud services and building RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures
• Demonstrated experience leading cross-organizational technical initiatives and influencing without direct authority
