Principal Software Engineer

Job Summary

Supporting QVC as a remote full-time Principal Software Engineer, the individual will lead complex software design and architecture, solve technical problems, and modernize systems while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical design and architecture for complex applications and integrations
• Develop and deliver software solutions that meet both functional and non-functional requirements
• Drive improvements to engineering standards, code quality, and operational support practices

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Deep experience in designing and implementing complex software solutions in enterprise environments
• Strong expertise in software architecture and system design
• Experience improving engineering practices across various domains including SDLC and DevOps
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience
