Principal Software Engineer

Job Summary

Hands-on and strategic, the full-time Principal Software Development Engineer will set the technical direction and drive the architecture of iSpot's data measurement platform, focusing on large-scale data processing and real-time analytics while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement a technical vision for the measurement and data processing platform, ensuring scalability and performance
• Identify and address complex technical challenges while driving innovation and adoption of new technologies
• Mentor engineers in best practices and contribute to team development and hiring initiatives

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 12 years of experience in software engineering, focusing on cloud infrastructure and large-scale data processing
• Proven experience in designing and scaling complex data-driven systems, preferably in ad tech or media
• Deep expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and cloud-native architectures
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or Scala, with knowledge of distributed computing frameworks
