Job Summary
As a key technical leader in a remote capacity, the full-time Principal Software Engineer will tackle complex challenges on Aura's AI Intelligence Platform, overseeing the architecture and development of systems that ensure security and privacy while serving millions of customers.
Key responsibilities:
- Design and drive the architectural vision for the platform, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security
- Own complex initiatives from design through deployment, translating ambiguous product goals into clear technical requirements
- Establish engineering best practices for security, privacy, and operational excellence, mentoring teams in technical challenges
Required qualifications:
- 10+ years of professional software engineering experience with large-scale distributed systems
- Expert knowledge of software design best practices and distributed systems fundamentals
- In-depth knowledge of cloud technology and experience with sensitive or regulated data systems
- Exceptional communication skills to articulate complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience
