Job Summary
Owning complete vertical slices of cross-team initiatives, the full-time remote Principal Software Engineer will manage architectural pivots, mentor Senior Engineers, and drive the adoption of AI-assisted development while ensuring platform health and customer outcomes.
Key responsibilities
- Leading multi-quarter migrations, deprecations, and architectural improvements across teams
- Setting technical standards and evaluating platform-level opportunities to enhance reliability and customer outcomes
- Mentoring Senior Engineers through code reviews and direct coaching to elevate their technical judgment and impact
Required qualifications
- Proven experience as the technical owner of cross-team or platform-level initiatives
- Strong technical foundation in distributed systems, data infrastructure, and service architecture
- Demonstrable experience with agentic AI-assisted development and tooling
- Track record of mentoring and coaching Senior Engineers to improve their performance
- Strong customer orientation with experience in engaging directly with clients and stakeholders
