Principal Software Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking a passionate Principal Software Engineer to work remotely in a full-time capacity, responsible for designing and developing Oracle retail commerce platforms while leading complex projects and ensuring system stability and performance.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, and support Oracle retail commerce platforms
- Lead complex, cross-functional projects and drive the team towards a scalable Cloud platform
- Analyze stakeholder use-cases and perform root cause analysis of critical business issues
Required qualifications
- 6 to 10+ years of experience in software engineering, specifically with Java systems
- Proficiency in Java, Gradle, Groovy, and NodeJS, with experience in building RESTful APIs
- Prior experience using cloud resources such as Kubernetes and databases
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex issues across distributed systems
- Experience in leading technical projects and navigating ambiguity in design outcomes
