Principal Software Engineer
Job Summary
As a remote full-time opportunity, the Principal Software Engineer will architect and implement complex software solutions, provide technical leadership, and mentor team members while driving the technical roadmap and strategy of the organization.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of critical software components and systems while providing technical feasibility evaluations based on business needs
- Mentor technical team members and oversee code reviews, production support, and maintenance issues
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define and execute the technical roadmap, staying informed about emerging technologies and industry trends
Required qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in Java, Spring Boot microservices, and Cloud Native technologies, including 2+ years in a lead or principal capacity
- Proficient in AWS/EKS and SQL/NOSQL platforms
- Demonstrated experience in designing and maintaining complex software solutions involving multiple stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
- Strong hands-on experience in domain-driven modeling and API development
