Principal Software Engineer
Job Summary
Driving the development of Copilot code review, the full-time Principal Software Engineer will manage the review agent's functionality, collaborate with research teams to enhance model capabilities, and ensure the quality of the end-to-end review experience in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Drive the functionality of the review agent, including context reasoning and model execution
- Collaborate with model labs and research teams to improve review quality based on emerging model capabilities
- Own the quality and reliability of the review experience across various platforms, including VS Code and GitHub Copilot
Required qualifications
- 11+ years of experience in Software Engineering or related technical discipline with a strong coding background in languages such as C, C++, Java, or Python
- Master's Degree in a relevant field with 7+ years of experience, or equivalent experience
- Proven experience in maintaining and delivering production software
- Hands-on experience with large-scale production systems
- Familiarity with AI models and their application in software development
