Job Summary
Seeking a Principal Software Engineer to work full-time, with the option for remote flexibility, who will lead the development of a global-scale Kubernetes-based service platform, providing technical leadership and mentoring while collaborating across teams to enhance Microsoft's cloud infrastructure.
Key responsibilities
- Partner with stakeholders to determine user requirements for complex scenarios
- Provide technical leadership for design documentation and project plans for products and services
- Mentor engineers to produce extensible and maintainable code while monitoring system performance
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 8+ years of technical engineering experience in coding languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
- Equivalent experience may be considered
- Ability to meet Microsoft security screening requirements
