Principal Software Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking a full-time Principal Software Engineer to work remotely, who will own day-to-day technical execution, write production code, and collaborate with various teams to build and enhance the Protera platform focused on healthcare solutions.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain major components of the Protera platform, including patient onboarding and clinician workflows
- Debug production issues and improve system reliability, performance, and security
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and participate in client and partner discussions to understand software requirements
Required qualifications:
- Deep hands-on experience with Elixir/Phoenix, including LiveView
- Experience in AI engineering techniques and tools
- Strong full-stack development skills, including backend systems and API integration
- Experience with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases
- Meaningful experience in healthcare technology, particularly with HIPAA-compliant systems
