Principal Software Engineer
Job Summary
To support a growing digital ecosystem, the full-time Principal Software Engineer will design and develop cloud-based software architectures, own complete feature delivery, and enhance user experiences for a consumer-facing platform, all while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Contribute to the design and development of new cloud-based software architectures
- Own and deliver complete features, including design, architecture, implementation, and deployment
- Analyze existing applications and databases to identify areas for improvement and troubleshoot software issues
Required qualifications
- 7+ years of software engineering experience building backend software with exposure to microservices and event-driven architectures
- Strong proficiency in Python and experience with databases (PostgreSQL and NoSQL)
- 5+ years of experience using AWS technologies such as Lambda, SQS, and API Gateway
- Experience with containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
