Principal Software Engineer
Job Summary
To enhance a digital Collectors ecosystem, the full-time Principal Software Engineer will design and develop cloud-based software architectures, own complete features from concept to deployment, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Contribute to the design and development of new cloud-based software architectures
- Own and deliver complete features, including design, architecture, implementation, testability, and deployment
- Analyze existing applications/databases and identify areas for improvement
Required qualifications
- 7+ years of software engineering experience building backend software
- Strong proficiency in Python and experience with databases (relational and NoSQL)
- 5+ years of experience with AWS technologies such as Lambda, SQS, and API Gateway
- Experience with containerization and orchestration infrastructure (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
