Principal Software Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking a committed Principal Software Engineer for a full-time remote position, responsible for designing and developing electromagnetic warfare capabilities for the MAX platform, integrating complex data models, and collaborating in a dynamic team environment.
Key responsibilities
- Design and develop EW and electromagnetic spectrum operations capabilities, from data model to user-facing workflow
- Integrate and validate physics-based RF propagation models and third-party services via APIs
- Collaborate in a highly cooperative team culture, demoing software to customers and iterating based on feedback
Required qualifications
- BS degree in a related technical field and 5+ years of relevant professional experience
- Professional experience in Python, C#, Java, or similar languages, and SQL-based persistence solutions
- Hands-on experience with AI-assisted software development and disciplined testing practices
- Experience working in containers (Docker) and familiarity with Kubernetes-based deployment
- Ability to multitask and function in a dynamic, fast-paced development environment
