Principal Software Engineer
Job Summary
Driving the technical design and delivery of foundational systems for autonomous investigation, the full-time Principal Software Engineer, AI-SOC will architect and implement core platform components while collaborating with ML/AI engineers in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Architect and implement core platform components, including data ingestion pipelines and investigation orchestration
- Own technical direction for complex problems, defining interfaces and data contracts that scale across diverse alert types
- Establish engineering standards and lead design reviews, providing mentorship to senior and staff engineers
Required qualifications
- 10+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on high-scale system design in distributed environments
- Deep expertise in data systems, including stream processing and distributed query engines
- Strong working knowledge of ML/AI system design and model serving infrastructure
- Experience in cloud-native environments, preferably AWS, with knowledge of AI/ML workload infrastructure
- Familiarity with security operations or detection engineering is a plus
