Principal Software Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking a deeply hands-on Principal Software Engineer for a full-time remote position within Europe, who will work collaboratively across teams to solve complex technical problems, mentor engineers, and guide the evolution of the platform architecture.
Key responsibilities:
- Collaborate with outcome teams to address complex technical challenges that span multiple systems and domains
- Lead the architecture forum to facilitate decision-making processes involving stakeholders and document key architectural choices
- Mentor Senior and Lead Engineers, enhancing their confidence in making complex technical decisions
Required qualifications:
- Extensive experience as a Senior, Lead, or Principal Software Engineer with a proven track record in delivering complex production-grade systems
- Deep proficiency in Vue 3 and Node.js, along with a strong full-stack understanding
- Solid experience with Firebase, Firestore, and Google Cloud Platform services
- Expertise in Domain-Driven Design and architecture patterns such as event-driven architecture
- Strong interest in AI-assisted development and modern engineering workflows
