Principal Software Engineer
Job Summary
Providing technical leadership and architectural direction, the full-time remote Principal Software Engineer will shape the next generation of the document management platform by solving complex engineering problems and driving cross-team initiatives in web, mobile, and AI-powered capabilities.
Key responsibilities
- Lead architectural decisions and establish engineering standards across multiple teams and product surfaces
- Design and build cloud-native applications, microservices, and integrations while ensuring security and performance standards
- Mentor engineers and drive testing, quality, and reliability strategies across the Intelligent DMS organization
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- 10+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a proven track record at the Staff level or above
- Deep expertise in system design, distributed systems, and cloud applications, particularly with C#, .NET, React, and TypeScript
- Experience leading complex, cross-team technical initiatives without formal authority
- Strong technical writing skills with experience in creating architecture documents and design proposals
