Principal Software Engineer
Job Summary
Setting the technical direction for multiple products and platforms, the full-time remote Principal Agentic Software Engineer will drive AI infrastructure development, oversee agentic engineering practices, and architect integrations while personally building components that enhance team efficiency.
Key responsibilities
- Set technical direction across AI infrastructure and shared primitives, while personally building essential components
- Co-define and implement agentic engineering practices, including prompt libraries and quality gates for AI-generated code
- Lead high-stakes decisions and prioritize mechanisms that enhance quality and speed for dependent teams
Required qualifications
- 8 to 12 years of full-stack development and architecture experience with web applications and services
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Advanced hands-on experience with AI coding agents and directing them through multi-step work
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript, Python, and C#/.NET, along with modern frontend frameworks
- Deep experience with RESTful API design, distributed systems, and cloud-native delivery on platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP
