Principal Software Engineer
Job Summary
To support a world-class engineering organization, the full-time remote Principal Software Engineer will tackle complex problems, provide technical leadership on high-impact projects, and mentor the next generation of technical leaders.
Key responsibilities
- Regularly address the largest and most complex problems from technical design to launch
- Provide technical leadership and determine plans-of-attack for large projects
- Mentor and share best engineering practices to improve overall engineering excellence
Required qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in Full Stack development with languages such as Java, Scala, Node, Javascript, or React
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Deep experience in systems engineering at scale, focusing on testing, reliability, security, and observability
- Experience in mentoring junior team members and collaborating across teams
- Familiarity with A/B testing techniques and consideration of customer impact in technical decisions
