Principal Software Engineer, AI SIEM

Job Summary

To drive architectural decisions across SentinelOne's AI SIEM platform, the full-time remote Principal Software Engineer, AI SIEM will manage system integration, mentor teams, and enhance detection capabilities while collaborating with engineering leads.

Key responsibilities

• Build a comprehensive model of the AI SIEM system to identify architectural strengths and weaknesses
• Drive cross-team architectural decisions affecting multiple system components and workflows
• Establish technical standards for APIs and service boundaries to ensure interoperability among teams

Required qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in large-scale distributed backend systems
• Proven ability to reason about system architecture and identify gaps or overlaps
• Experience designing APIs and service contracts for long-term use across teams
• Four-year degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
• Familiarity with security operations concepts and modern cloud infrastructure preferred
