Principal Software Engineer, Backend

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Software Engineer, Backend - Advanced Cluster Security.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the lifecycle for core product areas, designing and maintaining backend services and automation tools
• Contribute to the technical roadmap, focusing on data collection, event processing, and storage mechanisms
• Integrate new technologies and frameworks to enhance developer productivity and product innovation

Required Qualifications

• Advanced Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related STEM fields with at least five years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of seven years of experience
• Proven experience in architecting and implementing scalable backend services, including RESTful and gRPC APIs
• Demonstrated experience with building and maintaining scalable distributed systems and APIs
• Knowledge of automation frameworks and tools, such as Terraform and Helm
• Understanding of Kubernetes deployment and management in production environments is preferred
