Job Summary

Driving the application and cognitive layer of humanoid robots, the full-time Principal Software Engineer - California will build advanced voice applications and multi-modal context systems while collaborating with experts in robotics and AI in a remote work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement high-level application software and robotic behavioral state machines
• Build core logic that translates human speech and gestures into robotic tasks
• Integrate vision pipelines and voice interactions to enhance contextual awareness

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience using Python and/or C++
• Strong proficiency in BehaviorTree.CPP and workflow orchestration engines
• Experience designing scalable application-layer software and distributed services
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, VLMs, and agent frameworks
• Experience optimizing software for resource-constrained edge hardware
