Principal Software Engineer Infrastructure

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Software Engineer (Infrastructure).

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive technical strategy for large cross functional initiatives
• Work directly with engineering teams to deliver new infrastructure functions and technologies
• Contribute to the creation of the next generation scalable cloud

Required Qualifications:

• Track record of upstream contribution and influence in relevant open source communities
• Experience driving technical strategy for a company or larger organization
• Experience troubleshooting, analyzing, and debugging virtualization stacks
• Experience as a software engineer/developer in a large scale, distributed environment
• Deep understanding of operating systems, virtualization, and Linux internals
