Principal Solutions Architect

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Remote Principal Solutions Architect (VA ESOM).

Key Responsibilities

• Define and govern cohesive architecture blueprints for transitioning legacy workloads to modern cloud environments
• Lead the architectural approach for IT operations management and design enterprise-level IT service management frameworks
• Engage with clients on solution development and coach senior architects while ensuring compliance with federal standards

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree preferred (Bachelor's required) in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related field
• 12+ years of progressive IT experience, with at least 7+ years in senior or principal technical leadership roles
• Deep understanding of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) operating environment and health IT knowledge
• Expert knowledge in ServiceNow implementation and hybrid cloud architecture
• Proven track record of designing strategies for modernizing legacy systems
