Principal Splunk Engineer
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Principal Splunk Engineer to lead and shape Enterprise Observability initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, implement, and evolve complex Splunk and Cribl environments
- Drive innovation across the full lifecycle of observability platforms including performance analysis, system upgrades, and automation leadership
- Oversee comprehensive documentation, governance, and security integrations
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with 12+ years of relevant IT experience; or Master's degree with 10 years; or Associate degree with 14 years, or additional experience in lieu of a degree
- 6+ years as a senior-level Splunk Engineer
- 8+ years managing complex Linux-based infrastructures
- Proven expertise in architecting and enhancing Splunk infrastructures handling multi-terabyte daily ingests
- Strong scripting/programming skills, particularly in Python and JavaScript
