Principal Splunk Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Splunk Engineer to join their IT/Security Operations team.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and optimize Splunk deployments in on-prem and cloud environments
• Evaluate and enhance existing Splunk infrastructure and configurations
• Act as a primary responder for client configuration issues and ensure security of the Splunk cluster

Required Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of Splunk architecture and cloud operations
• 7+ years of experience with Splunk Administration and integration within operational systems
• Experience deploying and using Splunk in commercial cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure)
• Previous experience in a professional services or SOC environment
• Experience related to security/infrastructure design and compliance standards preferred
