Principal Splunk Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Splunk Engineer to join their IT/Security Operations team.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, deploy, maintain, and tune Splunk environments in both cloud and on-premises settings
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert for Splunk, managing and operating the platform for managed SIEM
• Collaborate with internal and client teams to resolve configuration issues and maintain security systems

Required Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of Splunk architecture and cloud operations
• 7+ years of experience with Splunk administration and integration in operational enterprise systems
• Experience deploying and using Splunk in commercial cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure)
• Previous experience in a professional services or SOC environment
• Understanding of security/infrastructure design and compliance standards
