Principal Statistical Programmer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Statistical Programmer who will lead project teams in the development and delivery of statistical analyses.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead project teams of Statistical Programmers to ensure timely delivery of statistical analyses, managing resources, metrics, timelines, and quality
• Review Analysis Plans, develop analysis dataset specifications, and maintain programming documentation for client deliverables
• Mentor junior programmers and contribute to process improvements, including the development of a central macro library and standard operating procedures

Required Qualifications

• BS/BA or equivalent degree
• Minimum of 10 years of SAS programming experience, with at least 7 years in the pharmaceutical industry
• Strong knowledge of SAS/Base, SAS Macro Facility, and CDISC Data Standards
• Experience in developing technical programming specifications and complex SAS Macros
• Experience leading programming project teams and managing concurrent projects
