Principal Statistical Programmer

Job Summary

Leading a project team, the full-time Principal Statistical Programmer will oversee the development and delivery of statistical analyses, manage resources and timelines, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead project teams to ensure timely delivery of statistical analyses and manage study-level metrics and quality
• Review Analysis Plans, provide feedback, and set up program and documentation templates for new projects
• Mentor junior programmers and contribute to process improvements, including the development of a central macro library

Required qualifications

• BS/BA or equivalent degree
• Minimum of 10 years of SAS programming experience, with at least 7 years in the pharmaceutical industry
• Strong knowledge of SAS/Base, SAS Macro Facility, and database design principles
• Experience with CDISC Data Standards and developing technical programming specifications
• Proven ability to lead programming project teams and manage concurrent projects effectively
