Job Summary
Supporting the Subcontracts team in managing government services, the full-time remote Principal Subcontract Administrator will be responsible for negotiating terms, evaluating bids, and ensuring compliance with regulations while fostering relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Represent the organization as the primary subcontract administrator, making presentations and managing subcontract negotiations
- Prepare and analyze bids and proposals to ensure compliance with government requirements and company policies
- Administer various types of subcontracts and provide leadership in resolving subcontract issues and developing solutions
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field, or 15+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
- 10+ years of experience in procurement activities, particularly in construction subcontracting
- Proven ability to lead Request for Proposal (RFP) processes and contract negotiations
- Knowledge of various contract types and experience with CPSR and procurement policies
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
