Principal System Administrator

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal System Administrator to join their IT team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategic initiatives to modernize and optimize IT infrastructure
• Oversee system design, configuration, deployment, and monitoring of server and storage systems
• Ensure robust cybersecurity practices are integrated into all system administration processes

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 5+ years of progressive experience in systems administration or infrastructure engineering
• Expertise in managing Windows and Linux environments at scale
• Proven experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
• Strong understanding of networking, storage, security protocols, and enterprise system monitoring
