Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Systems Engineer - Mainframe (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

Lead system software upgrades and manage CICS Transaction Server and related products
Serve as Engineer for additional system software products and collaborate with security engineers
Assist with system performance monitoring, tuning, and problem resolution for application teams

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or equivalent experience
6+ years of experience as a Mainframe Systems Engineer
Ability to perform IBM ServerPac or z/OSMF upgrades in a z/OS environment
6+ years of experience using IBM SMP/E for product installation and upgrades in a z/OS environment
Expert level knowledge of CICS Transaction Server and IBM z/OS, JCL, and Utilities
