Principal Systems Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff/Principal Systems Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate user needs and customer requirements into product and systems requirements and specifications
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and prioritize software requirements and drive software release activities
• Maintain software and systems roadmaps while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements

Required Qualifications

• 8-10 years of experience in diagnostics or medical devices
• 3-5 years of systems engineering experience, preferably in Bioinformatics pipelines
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; Master's or advanced degree preferred
• Experience with Agile software development methodologies
• Basic understanding of next-generation sequencing and bioinformatics concepts
