Principal Systems Engineer

Job Summary

Serving as the principal technical advisor for Mid-Telco Accounts, the full-time remote Principal Senior Systems Engineer will drive technical strategy, solution architecture, and pre-sales execution for telecommunications service providers while engaging with customer executives and leading architectural discussions.

Key responsibilities

• Build trusted relationships with customer executives and lead technology discussions focused on network modernization and automation
• Design scalable networking solutions utilizing Juniper platforms and provide expert guidance on JUNOS and JUNOS EVO architectures
• Mentor Systems Engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to influence product direction and drive complex sales engagements

Required qualifications

• Deep expertise in Juniper routing, switching, and security platforms including MX, PTX, QFX, EX, and SRX
• Extensive experience with JUNOS and JUNOS Evolved (JUNOS EVO)
• Proven ability to design and support large-scale service provider networks with technologies such as BGP, MPLS, and EVPN
• Experience in network automation using tools like Python, Ansible, or Terraform
• Strong understanding of cloud networking and AI-driven operations
