Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal CPA, Director of Tax (US - Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain strong client relationships and uphold quality control standards for client deliverables
• Lead and mentor the tax team, including preparing and reviewing tax planning documents and returns
• Research tax issues and provide strategic recommendations to clients regarding tax compliance and planning

Required Qualifications

• CPA certification with 8+ years of experience, primarily in public accounting
• Experience in client-facing roles with a strong understanding of client businesses
• Proficiency in cloud-based accounting platforms and major tax preparation software
• Experience with project management or task management tools
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting with a proactive attitude
