Principal Technical Architect

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Principal Technical Architect, this hybrid role will manage the architectural strategy for high-volume, mission-critical business processing platforms, focusing on cost-optimized, resilient hybrid architectures while collaborating closely with the Chief Technical Architect.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the Chief Technical Architect to define and evolve multi-year architectural vision across platforms and client solutions
• Serve as a principal architect for hybrid and multi-region production architectures supporting large-scale transaction processing
• Lead research and technical design for application modernization and enterprise-level AI adoption strategies

Required qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in enterprise architecture or large-scale systems engineering
• Demonstrated success in architecting high availability, mission-critical production systems
• Deep expertise in designing and operating hybrid and cloud-enabled platforms
• Proven ability to evaluate resiliency, cost, performance, and maintainability in architectural decisions
• Experience decomposing monolithic architectures into microservices or modular monoliths
