Principal Technical Program Manager

Job Summary

Owning the monthly release program for Toast IQ, the full-time remote Principal Technical Program Manager will design and improve processes across product, engineering, and marketing to ensure coherent platform launches and effective cross-functional collaboration.

Key responsibilities

• Design and continuously improve the monthly agent release program, establishing durable operating mechanisms
• Set and uphold platform readiness standards, engaging with engineering teams on technical risks and dependencies
• Drive go-to-market coherence, ensuring consistent naming, packaging, and messaging across multiple lines of business

Required qualifications

• 12+ years of technical program management experience with software engineering teams
• Proven track record of managing cross-functional programs end to end
• Technical fluency to engage with engineering on architecture and risk assessment
• Experience in establishing repeatable operating models and managing cross-organizational dependencies
• Strong written communication skills for translating complex program status to senior leadership
