Principal Technical Program Manager

Job Summary

Seeking a highly skilled Principal Technical Program Manager to lead large, complex, cross-functional engineering programs for the Public Sector in a full-time remote position, focusing on program lifecycle management, performance metrics, and executive stakeholder communication.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of large, complex, multi-team engineering programs, ensuring clear structure and predictable outcomes
• Define and track performance metrics related to engineering execution and program health, while developing integrated timelines and risk mitigation plans
• Build and lead program governance for executives, providing concise updates on engineering progress, risks, and technical trade-offs

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience; advanced degree is a plus
• 12-15+ years of experience leading large-scale technical or engineering programs within complex technology organizations
• Strong technical fluency in architecture, system design, APIs/services, data flows, and SDLC/DevOps
• Proven ability to communicate and influence at the VP/SVP/EVP level, distilling complex issues into concise recommendations
• Demonstrated experience managing engineering dependencies and driving outcomes across software and/or network domains
