Principal Technology Architect

Job Summary

Driving the architecture for CPE and in-home networking, the full-time remote Principal Technology Architect will manage the strategy, design, and operational platform for subscriber devices, focusing on Wi-Fi evolution and improving customer experience across over 1 million users.

Key responsibilities

• Design and own the digital orchestration platform for managing residential gateway and ONT configurations across a large subscriber base
• Lead the Wi-Fi evolution roadmap, defining performance standards and automated troubleshooting tools to enhance subscriber experience
• Manage vendor relationships and define evaluation criteria for CPE devices, ensuring alignment with technical roadmaps and operational needs

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 10+ years of experience in CPE, broadband, or in-home networking architecture with expertise in device lifecycle management and firmware governance
• Deep knowledge of Wi-Fi technologies, including Wi-Fi 6/6E architecture and automated diagnostics
• Proven experience in designing and managing large-scale CPE management and orchestration platforms
• Strong cross-functional communication skills to influence technical direction and explain complex decisions to stakeholders
