Principal Technology Engineer

Job Summary

Providing enterprise-wide technical leadership, the full-time remote Principal Technology Engineer will guide modernization efforts for Data Center networking solutions, establish engineering best practices, and ensure alignment with long-term business strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design, engineering, and implementation of enterprise Data Center network solutions
• Define engineering standards and operational frameworks to enhance efficiency, resiliency, and security
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize and deliver strategic technology initiatives

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Software Engineering preferred
• 10+ years of progressive experience in technology engineering or IT solution development
• Expert-level experience with Cisco Data Center networking technologies, including Cisco ACI and Nexus platforms
• Advanced expertise in Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking concepts and associated technologies
• Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Data Center certification required or equivalent experience
