Principal Transmission Line Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Transmission Line Engineer (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Design and coordinate High Voltage transmission lines using PLS-CADD software
• Act as a primary client-facing Subject Matter Expert and facilitate collaboration among project team members
• Mentor junior engineers and assist in the development of internal design standards and processes

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited school; Master's degree preferred
• Minimum of 20 years of relevant transmission line engineering experience
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required; licensure in multiple states preferred
• Expert in PLS-CADD and PLS-POLE with the ability to train others
• Previous experience working with or for a Utility is required
