Principal User Researcher

Job Summary

To establish and scale the user research practice, the full-time Principal User Researcher will operate remotely, defining methodologies and frameworks while leading strategic research initiatives focused on B2B partnerships and insurance agent journeys.

Key responsibilities:

• Establish research processes and methodologies for a growing design and research team
• Lead mixed-method research initiatives across complex user journeys in the B2B space, including agent tools and onboarding
• Synthesize research findings with usage data and market insights to identify product opportunities and influence product strategy

Required qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in user research, preferably within B2B SaaS or financial services
• Proven track record of establishing and scaling research functions or processes
• Experience with mixed-method research, including qualitative and quantitative studies
• Strong understanding of complex product ecosystems and user flows
• Ability to communicate research insights effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
