Principal User Researcher
Job Summary
To establish a UX research practice, the full-time Principal User Researcher will lead foundational and strategic research initiatives remotely, collaborating across product, design, sales, marketing, and strategy to uncover user needs and drive innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead mixed-methods research to explore user needs, behaviors, and motivations across multiple product areas
- Design and execute medium to large-scale studies that combine qualitative and quantitative insights
- Mentor designers and product partners in research best practices, establishing high-quality research standards across teams
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of UX Research experience with expertise in both qualitative and quantitative methods
- Proven track record of leading research that influenced product direction and long-term investments
- Ability to design and execute mixed-methods research independently
- Experience in storytelling and synthesizing insights into actionable frameworks
- Strong systems thinking skills connecting human insight to product architecture and design strategy
