Job Summary
Leading the development of next-generation vision-based position feedback systems, the full-time Principal Vision Systems Engineer will oversee the architecture and co-development of custom smart cameras and FPGA-based image processing platforms to achieve real-time pose estimation with low latency.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end vision system architecture, including image acquisition, processing, and pose estimation
- Develop real-time algorithms for target extraction and multi-body tracking, optimizing for latency and performance
- Collaborate with external partners on FPGA co-development and ensure integration with closed-loop control systems
Required Qualifications
- MS or PhD in Computer Vision, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in vision systems and real-time or embedded systems
- Proven experience delivering low-latency vision or sensor-based systems
- Strong programming skills in C/C++, Python, and MATLAB
- Understanding of FPGA-based image processing pipelines and hardware constraints
