Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal WebAssembly Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement new WebAssembly runtime features, from concept to production
• Define and deliver ergonomic APIs for asynchronous capabilities, balancing safety, performance, and portability
• Profile and optimize performance while collaborating with distributed teams to oversee improvements and problem resolutions

Required Qualifications

• Broad knowledge of compilers, interpreters, and their associated runtime support
• 5+ years of experience developing compilers in a significant commercial or open-source context
• Proficiency in a variety of development styles and languages, both static and dynamic
• Strong design and analytical skills
• Strong background in software engineering principles focused on crafting robust and maintainable solutions
