Principal Workday Tech Lead

Job Summary

Serving as the strategic domain owner for Workday Core HCM, Benefits, and Security, the full-time remote Principal Workday Tech Lead will manage foundational Workday configuration, ensuring architectural integrity and scalability while influencing platform direction through deep enterprise-level expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design, integrity, and long-term evolution of Workday Core HCM and Security configurations
• Evaluate implementation decisions, identifying operational risks and governance concerns to maintain platform sustainability
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between Workday security architecture and enterprise governance standards

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Business, or a related field
• 8+ years of experience owning and evolving Workday Core HCM architecture in complex enterprise environments
• 4+ years of experience designing and governing Workday Security architecture
• Experience partnering with executive stakeholders during large-scale Workday implementations
• Workday Core HCM and Security certifications strongly preferred
