Principal Workday Tech Lead

Job Summary

Serving as the strategic domain owner for Workday Core HCM and Security, the full-time remote Principal Workday Tech Lead will manage foundational Workday configuration, ensuring its integrity, scalability, and long-term evolution while collaborating with various organizational teams.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the senior-most technical owner for Workday Core HCM and Security design, ensuring architectural integrity and scalability
• Lead the design, configuration, testing, and deployment of complex foundational Workday functionality with enterprise-wide impact
• Establish governance practices to mitigate configuration drift and technical debt while serving as a mentor to the People Technology team

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Business, or a related field
• 8+ years of experience owning and evolving Workday Core HCM architecture in complex enterprise environments
• 4+ years of experience designing and governing Workday Security architecture, including role-based security and audit considerations
• Experience partnering with executive stakeholders during large-scale Workday implementations or transformations
• Workday Core HCM and Security certifications strongly preferred
