Principal Zero Trust Architect

Job Summary

Serving as the senior technical authority for enterprise Zero Trust architecture, the full-time Principal Zero Trust Architect will lead the development of Zero Trust Use Cases, guide architectural reviews, and provide engineering consultation in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead development and technical quality review of enterprise Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) Use Cases and reusable architecture patterns
• Define information flows, policy decision points, identity relationships, and security controls for enterprise systems
• Provide technical advisory support to Architecture Review Boards and engineering teams to ensure alignment with enterprise standards

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline
• Ten or more years of security architecture or enterprise engineering experience, with a focus on Zero Trust architecture
• Expert knowledge of NIST SP 800-207 and Federal Zero Trust architecture principles
• Demonstrated ability to design reusable enterprise architectures across various domains including identity and networks
• Strong technical writing and executive communication skills
