Job Summary
A company is looking for a Prior Authorization Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and refine the prior authorization process, ensuring efficient and accurate submission of requests and appeals
- Act as a subject matter expert on prior authorization workflows and payer engagement strategies
- Monitor and analyze payer authorization trends to identify opportunities for process improvements
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years of experience in prior authorization or revenue cycle management, preferably in medical device or rehabilitation therapies
- Expertise in prior authorization workflows and commercial payer appeals
- Strong understanding of commercial insurance plans and prior authorization requirements
- Education: Minimum Bachelor's degree required
- Preferred Certifications: CPC or similar coding and revenue cycle certification
