Job Summary

A company is looking for a Prior Authorization Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and refine the prior authorization process, ensuring efficient and accurate submission of requests and appeals
  • Act as a subject matter expert on prior authorization workflows and payer engagement strategies
  • Monitor and analyze payer authorization trends to identify opportunities for process improvements
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in prior authorization or revenue cycle management, preferably in medical device or rehabilitation therapies
  • Expertise in prior authorization workflows and commercial payer appeals
  • Strong understanding of commercial insurance plans and prior authorization requirements
  • Education: Minimum Bachelor's degree required
  • Preferred Certifications: CPC or similar coding and revenue cycle certification
