Job Summary

A company is looking for a Supervisor, Prior Authorization Operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Organize and supervise daily operations of the prior authorization process and staff
  • Ensure compliance with formulary changes, regulatory requirements, and effective training for staff
  • Evaluate and improve the PA process for efficiency and accuracy while managing a team of up to 30 individuals
Required Qualifications
  • High school degree or equivalent required; associate degree or 2 years relevant experience preferred
  • Minimum of two years of experience in pharmacy, nursing, or managed care is highly desirable
  • Retail pharmacy experience and knowledge of the PBM industry is desired
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint preferred
  • Experience in staff management and development is essential
