Prior Authorization Pharmacist

Job Summary

A company is hiring a Prior Authorization Pharmacist for a remote position.

Responsibilities:

• Review and make decisions on authorizations and appeals for various types of drugs
• Conduct peer-to-peer calls with prescribers to discuss adverse determinations
• Participate in clinical quality audits and provide internal team support

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience as a licensed pharmacist
• Active, unrestricted pharmacist license
• Doctor of Pharmacy Degree
• Willingness to obtain licensure/training in new states, as needed
